Primex Investments Ltd. (Primex) is a Vancouver-based real estate investment and management company that seeks to generate exceptional returns on capital for investors by improving the quality and increasing the supply of multifamily rental housing in British Columbia.

Since the company’s founding in 1972, Primex has diligently invested in and managed assets on behalf of its shareholders and partners. Historically, the portfolio of assets was diverse, and real estate was just one important component. But after siblings Lee Rennison and Andrew Rennison took over leadership in 2006, the acquisition and management of multifamily residential properties was identified as the platform from which the company could add the most value for shareholders and partners. Since then, the mission at Primex has been to provide investors the opportunity to own a desirable asset class - large-scale rental apartment properties - and the expertise to see these investments managed to their fullest potential.

Today, with both the experience gained through acquiring and managing a large portfolio and the assembly of a talented staff of real estate professionals, the company has built expertise in several areas of the industry. The team at Primex now includes specialists in acquisition and finance, property management, residential leasing, project management, and development.

Primex currently oversees over $500 million in real estate assets on behalf of nearly 200 stakeholders, including Primex shareholders and partners. In markets throughout Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and the Okanagan, the company manages and holds significant ownership interests in over 2,000 operating rental apartment units and is set to bring an additional 1,500 suites into the market by 2024 through numerous development projects. Primex manages these properties through its subsidiary Pacific Cove Property Management Ltd., a licensed property management brokerage.
